Accepting award from Lalu is an insult: Oraon

Ranchi, Nov 14 (UNI) Former CPI (ML) Legislator Bahadur Oraon today said he will not receive any award from Railway Minister Lalu Prasad as the latter was against the creation of the state.

Mr Oraon is one of the 11 people selected by the Jharkhand government for felicitation on its sixth foundation day tomorrow for their significant contribution to Jharkhand.

Mr Oraon said he would not accept any award from the Railway Minister. ''I feel ashamed to be honoured by Mr Prasad'', he said.

Mr Oraon said the former Bihar Chief Minister made adverse comments when the process of separate Jharkhand state was initiated.

Party's state secretarty Shubhendu Sen alleged the UPA-backed Madhu Koda government was in no way different from the previous NDA government .
