2nd World Cup carrom in Delhi from Friday
New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) M Nataraj and Rashmi Kumari will kick off their campaigns as defending champion in the Rajiv Gandhi second World Cup Carrom Tournament which gets underway here on Friday.
As many as 17 countries have confirmed participation the World Cup, expected to be the biggest ever, would be the third major carrom, tournament to be held in the country, according to Chairman of the Organising Commiitee Jai Prakash Agarwal.
While Nataraj and Rashmi start as overwhleming favourites, other Indians are also expected to have a cakewalk in a game which they have been dominating for quite long, Mr Agarwal said.
