USFDA nod for Torrent Pharma's API

Ahmedabad, Nov 13 (UNI) Ahmedabad-based Rs 1033-crore pharma major, Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited, has received an approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and formulations manufacturing facilities (excluding the parenteral facility) located at Chhatral, about 40 kms from here.

Currently, Torrent Pharma has submitted three Drug Master Files and five Abbreviated New Drug Applications (product dossiers for generic drug products and related APIs) to the USFDA for approval, a company release said here today.
