'Uma Bharti is a closed chapter': BJP

New Delhi, Nov 13: The BJP today virtually ruled out the re-entry of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti into the party by saying that it was a ''closed chapter''.

Asked to react to the views expressed by senior RSS leader M G Vaidya in his regular column in Tarun Bharat, the Marathi mouthpiece of the RSS, BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said the ''BJP regards Mr Vaidya respects as an elder columnist but that doesn't mean the party agreed with his suggestions''.

Mr Vaidya, in his regular column 'Bhashya', had favoured the BJP taking Ms Bharti into its fold in the long term interests of the party.
