Six-day theatre festival in Mysore from Dec 7

Mysore, Nov 13 (UNI) A six-day 'Bahurupi' annual national theatre festival will be organised by the State repertoire Rangayana here from December seven.

Deputy Commissioner S Selva Kumar today released the posters of the event at a simple function at his office.

Speaking on the occassion, Rangayana Director Chidambara Rao Jambe said the festival would attract prominent theatre personalities from across the country and it intended to highlight the plight of farmers with the theme 'Krishi Samskruthi' (Agro culture).

On all the six days, stage plays would be held by various theatre groups of the country. It would also organise a 'Pradarshanagala Vimarshana Kumata' (Conference on critic analysis of plays) on the occasion. A book exhibition and janapada pradarshana would also be held during the festival, besides screening of movies from December seven, he added.
