Noida/Lucknow, Nov 13 (UNI) A three-year-old son of the Managing Director of a software multi-national was kidnapped by two motorcycle-borne youths in Sector 15 area of Noida this morning.
Anant, whose father Naresh Chandra Gupta is the Managing Director of 'Adobe India', was abducted around 0850 hrs, while he was on the way to school from his Sector 15-A residence, said state home department officials here.
A student of 'Lotus Valley School' situated on the Express Highway, Anant was with his maid when the two youths riding a black motorcycle 'snatched' him from her and fled from the scene.
Anant's mother Nidhi has lodged an FIR at Sector 20 police station under section 364 of the IPC and sleuths questioned the maid.
Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Police has set up six special teams to rescue Anant.
Special Secretary (Home) Pramod Pandey said the maid servant, Seema, from whom the criminals allegedly 'snatched' away the child is being interrogated for clues.
''Six police teams have been set up to rescue the boy. If required, help of the Special Task Force (STF) would be taken,'' Mr Pandey said adding senior police officials had rushed to Noida and were supervising the operation.
Mr Pandey said his family members are yet to receive any ransom demand from the abductors so far.
Meanwhile, the BJP and Congress have blamed the deteriorating law and order situation in UP behind the kidnapping. ''Criminals are running a parallel government and the Mulayam Singh Yadav administration is unable to control it,'' alleged state BJP president Keshri Nath Tripathi.
''When the family members of personnel woorking in big companies are not safe in UP, how can the Samajwadi Party government claim they are turning the state into Uttam Pradesh,'' he observed.
Congress spokesperson Akhilesh Pratap Singh said the abduction proves wrong, the tall claims of the state government about the law and order situation in UP.
