Renuka Sugars YoY net up 115%

New Delhi, Nov 13 (UNI) Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd today reported a whopping 115 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 120.49 crore for the year ended September 30, 2006, as against Rs 56.10 crore over the same period last year.

The company's total income for the year stood at Rs 1,111.08 crore, registering an increase of 39 per cent over the previous year.

The Board of Directors have recommended final dividend of Rs 2 per share (20 per cent), subject to the approval of the shareholders.

The company's various expansion projects involving a total expenditure of over Rs 700 crore are in various stages of implementation and proceeding as per schedule, a company statement said.
