Night temp below normal; day temp above normal in the country

Pune, Nov 13 (UNI) Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Orissa and were below normal in some parts of Saurashtra and Kutch, south Madhya Maharashtra and south interior Karnataka.

Temperatures were markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat Region, north Madhya Maharashtra, appreciably above normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab, north Chattisgarh and in some parts of east Madhya Pradesh and were above normal in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Vidarbha and in some parts of Rayalaseema and of coastal Karnataka and in remaining parts of Saurashtra and Kutch. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Northeast monsoon has been active in Tamil Nadu.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Lakshadweep and at mainly dry weather will prevail over the Uttar Pradesh, haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Karnataka.

Rain or snow have occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Lakshadweep.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Tamil Nadu and at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and at mainly dry weather prevailed over the Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Karnataka.
