Nagaland Cabinet to decide CBI probe on NPSC scam
Kohima, Nov 13: The Nagaland government will discuss the Naga Students' Federation's (NSF) demand of a CBI probe into the alleged discrepancies in the Nagaland Public Service Commission during last 20 years.
The state's additional chief secretary Lalthara, in a communique to NSF president V Phushika Aomi, here today said the matter will be discussed in the next cabinet meeting.
The government had urged the NSF not to launch any agitation on this issue, which might cause inconvenience to the public and the candidates appearing for NPSC.
Upon the NSF's demand to remove NPSC chairman K M Chadha before November 12, the communique stated that the state government had rellived him of his duties on November ten.
