MMTA lauds players for winning climbing top slots

Imphal, Nov 13 (UNI) The Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Assocation (MMTA) has lauded two of its members- Khumanthem Dasini and Amom Puspakanta Singh- who won the title in women open speed and junior boys speed climbing championship respectively at the I2th National Sports Climbing Competition 2006, held at IMF, New Delhi.

The MMTA had selected the players after conducting a north east competition at Imphal recently and the MMTA was also preparing to organise the next national competitions in Manipur.

The MMTA said it has started organising camps at the Lamdan Adventure and Leadership Park. The park the first of its kind in the country has all the facilities required in an adventure park.
