MMTA lauds players for their success in 12th NSCC

Imphal, Nov 13 (UNI) The Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Assocation (MMTA) has lauded Khumanthem Dasini and Amom Puspakanta Singh for their success in the 12th National Sports Climbing Competition (NSCC) 2006, at IMF New Delhi.

Khumanthem and Amom had won the women open speed and junior boys speed climbing respectively in the NSCC 2006.

The MMTA had selected the players after conducting a north east competition here recently, MMTA officials said The MMTA has started its preparations to organise the next national competitions in Manipur, the officials said.

For this, the MMTA are organising camps at the Lamdan Adventure and Leadership Park, first of its kind in the country which had all the facilities required in an adventure park.
