Militant-killed in Jammu

Jammu, Nov 13 (UNI) Security Forces today gunned down a militant in the border area of Khour, 35 km from here, while three Army Jawans and a policeman were wounded in the operation, a senior police official here said.

Senior Superintendent of Police (Jammu) Mukesh Singh told UNI that a militant had reportedly been killed in the encounter.

''Three Army jawans and one police personnel have also been injured in the encounter, which is still going on,'' the SSP said.

The wounded soldiers have been hospitalised.

The identity of the militant, he said, ''is not known yet''.
