Grenade attack on police station in Guwahati

Guwahati, Nov 13 (UNI) Suspected militants hurled a grenade towards the Panbazar police station here today.

Preliminary reports said the blast occurred at about 1830 hrs when unidentified persons hurled the grenade towards the police station. It exploded in the backyard.

No casualties or injuries had been reported so far.

The area is in close proximity of Fancy Bazaar, the site of the twin blasts on November 5 in which altogether 15 people were killed and over 50 injured.
