Former Test umpire Reuben passes away
Mumbai, Nov 13 (UNI) Former Test cricket umpire Judah Reuben passed away due to old age here today. He was 84 and is survived by his wife and three daughters.
Reuben was admitted to a city hospital after he had a fall at his residence a few days ago but had been discharged and was at his Mumbai residence when he died, sources close to him said.
Reuben made his international debut by officiating in the 1969-70 Test series between Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi-led India and Bill Lawry's visiting Australian team at Kolkata.
Reuben, who worked as a fingerprint expert in the Criminal Investigation Department in Mumbai, officiated in 10 official and two unofficial Tests.
