Drunk Head Constable 'caught' stealing car in C R Park

New Delhi, Nov 13 (UNI) In an interesting case a Delhi Police Head Constable was 'caught' stealing a car in Chittaranjan Park area of South Delhi.

Head Constable Vijay, posted at Police Lines, was seen fiddling with the car by its owner, a lady, late evening yesterday in C R Park's 'B' Block, according to sources.

She raised an alarm after which the police was called.

In her complaint she said the accused, who was drunk, was trying to steal her car.

After discovering that the alleged was a Head Constable, police tried to hush up the case.

No case has been registered yet.

Later an officer of the C R Park police station said how could he steal the car when he doesn't know how to drive.
