Dr Nagarajan receives INSA Silver Jubilee Medal Award

New Delhi, Nov 13 (UNI) Dr S Nagarajan, Chairperson, PVP and FRA, was today presented with the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Silver Jubilee Medal Award for his contribution in all the fields of agriculture.

The award was given by Dr R S Paroda, Chairman, Trust for Advancement of Agricultural Sciences (TAAS) at a function here.

While receiving the prestigious Award, Dr Nagarajan delivered a lecture on the subject of ''Farmers' Variety (FV), Geographical Indication (GI) and the Plant Variety Protection (PVP) and Farmers' Right Act (FRA)''.
