Digvijay could not look beyond his perceptions: Chouhan

Indore, Nov 13 (UNI) Reacting to Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh's statement dubbing him junior Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said Mr Singh could not look beyond his perceptions.

''Mr Singh is wearing glasses of his own ideas. He thinks in the same manner,'' Mr Chouhan told reporters at MHOW, 20 km from here.

He quoted a choupai from Ramayan 'Jaki Jaisi Bhawana Jaisi' to stress his point.

''The principle of the BJP is love and not hatred; mutual respect and not conflict,'' he said.

Participating in a Sampradayik Sadbhav Sammelan here yesterday, Mr Singh had accused the BJP of encouraging communal elements and said Mr Chouhan was following in the footsteps of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

He described support from the people as necessary for development and added that the government was establishing contact with every section to know their viewpoint.
