Court grants permission for Narco Analysis test on 2 Unani doctors

Mumbai, Nov 13 (UNI) MCOCA court today granted permission to the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) to conduct Narco Analysis test on the two Unani doctors arrested in connection with the Malegaon blasts case.

Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) judge, Mrudula Bhatkar gave permission to the ATS to conduct Narco Analysis test on Salman Farsi Abdul Latif Aimi, 35, and Farogh Anwar Iqbal Ahmed Magdumi, 33 as sought by it, as both of them have been remanded to police custody till November 21.

Two Unani doctors have been arrested by the police following information given by the three persons arrested earlier in this case.

According to police, Salman Aimi andFarough practising in Gowandi and at Malegaon in Nasik district respectively and often had meetings with other co-conspirators for the purpose of carrying on unlawful activities.

On September 8, three blasts had occurred in and around a mosque at Malegaon in Nasik district which killed 25 and injured 240 others.
