China's economy seen growing 9.5 pc in 2007

Shanghai, Nov 13: China's economic growth is set to slow to 9.5 per cent next year, the State Information Centre, a think tank under the top economic planner, the National Development and Reform Commission, said in a report on Monday.

The agency, which made the forecast in the report published in the official China Securities Journal, had forecast China's gross domestic product to rise 10.5 percent in 2006.

China's GDP has grown 10 per cent or more since 2003 after it rose 9.1 per cent in 2002.
