Bus mows down two

Tiruvallur (Tamil Nadu), Nov 13: Two persons were killed on the spot, when a bus lost control and mowed them down at Kosavanpallayam near here this morning.

Police said the driver of the bus coming from Tirupathi to Chennai, lost control when he tried to avoid two buffaloes standing on the middle of the road and hit the two persons standing on the road side.

The deceased were identified as Govindasamy(62) and Andal (35).

The bodies were later shifted to Tiruvallur District Hospital for post-mortem, police added.
