BMS to protest against SEZ in AP

Visakhapatnam, Nov 13 (UNI) The District Unit of the Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) today launched protest programmes opposing the policy on Special Economic Zones (SEZs).

Led by BMS President K Bhavani Sankarudu, the members staged a dharna at Achutapuram mandal in the district, demanding abolition of the current policy on SEZ and opposed acquisition of agricultural land for setting up SEZs.

The BMS will organise dharnas at Bheeminipatnam on November 16 and Duvvada on November 20 as part of their protest.
