Bihar base company expresses to set up industry

Agartala, Nov 13 (UNI) Sun Plant Agrofinance Ltd (SPAL), a Bihar based private organisation, is keen to set up a bio-fertiliser refinery in Tripura.

SPAL officials here today said, '' the prospects of investment in this state, sans Industries, are brightening slowly following the improvement in the insurgency situation.'' ''We are also keen to invest in Japtropa cultivation,'' they said.

Even the farmers in the state have stressed upon the importance of Jatropa cultivation as it is found to be an alternative of diesel, they added.

The proposed bio-fertilizer refinery and Jatropa cultivation could help in solving the unemployment problem here, SPAL officals remarked.

The SPAL have urged the state forest minister to provide about 1200 acres for the proposed project.
