Bhotmange accepts job offer, submits documents
Nagpur, Nov 13 (UNI) Bhaiyyalal Bhotmange, whose wife and three children were massacred by villagers in Khairlanji in Bhandara district of Vidarbha last September, has accepted the offer of a job from the Government of Maharashtra and has submitted the relevant documents today.
Bhotmange submitted the documents to the Bhandara District Social Welfare Officer, sources said.
He has been offered the job of a watchman at a government hostel for backward class boys in Tumsar in Bhandara District.
The Social Justice Department approved the appointment as a special case.
Earlier, Bhotmange had refused the job offer when Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh met him during a visit to Khairlanji last Saturday.
The Dalit family - Bhotmange's wife Surekha (44), daughter Priyanka (18), and sons Roshan (23) and Sudhir (21) were done to death by a mob in the village late on the night of September 30 over a land dispute.
