A comprehensive plan to develop Siliguri

Siliguri, Nov 13 (UNI) West Bengal government has chalked out a comprehensive plan to develop Siliguri as an industrial hub, state Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Minister Ashok Bhattacharya said here today.

Speaking to UNI, he said the state government has created a "city development plan" which include setting up of technological park, automobile park and IT park.

He also said the city has a huge potential for industrial growth and many investors are eager to invest in the state.

Mr Bhattacharya said,''We need to focus on infrustructure development in this city like building new schools, colleges, cinema halls and hotels.'' UNI XC JYN SRC1815
