3,106 dengue cases in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 13 (UNI) The total number of dengue cases has risen to 3,106 in the national capital during the past 24 hours, MCD officials said today, Of the total number of cases, reported till 1000 hrs this morning, 1883 are from Delhi, the officials said.

The death toll in Delhi so far is 61, they added.

In AIIMS, 9 more patients were admitted and 8 were discharged during the past 24 hours.

AIIMS Medical Superintendent Dr D K Sharma said the total number of dengue patients undergoing treatment in the hospital now stands at 47, he added.

The Central Zone, Shahdara(North) and Shahdara (South) continue to be the worst affected areas in Delhi.
