Suicide bomber kills 28 at Baghdad police centre

BAGHDAD, Nov 12 (Reuters) A suicide bomber blew himself up at a police recruiting centre in western Baghdad today, killing 28 people and wounding more than 40, police at a local hospital said.

Interior Ministry sources however said 25 were killed in the blast after a bomber wearing an explosive-laden vest walked into the recruiting centre for police commandos.
