Six coal miners including 2 Australians killed in AP
Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, Nov 12 (UNI) Six coal miners, including two Australian technicians were killed in an accident in the Andhra Pradesh Government-owned Singareni Collieries at Kothagudeam early this morning.
According to the sources, the roof of the seventh incline of the soft-mine caved in when the Australian technicians were training the miners.
Several other workers who were injured, however escaped from the mine and were admitted to the Singareni Collieries Hospital at Kothagudem.
The condition of the injured was stated to be safe.
The authorities are yet to come out with a confirmation of the accident.
