Paraglider killed, another injured in HP

Kullu, Nov 12 (UNI) A paraglider lost his life and another was seriously injured after their glider came hurtling down because of change in wind direction in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh police sources today said.

Ishwar Dass and Prem Chand had taken off for a joy flight from Solang Nullah in the district yesterday, but came hurtling down soon because of a change in wind direction.

The sources said while Ishwar succumbed to the injuries, Prem, seriously injured in the accident, was undergoing treatment at the Mission Hospital at Manali.

A case has been registered and investigations were on, the sources added.
