Miscreants kill builder in Vaishali

Hajipur, Nov 12 (UNI) A builder was shot dead by unidentified criminals at Sundar Nagar locality in Vaishali district today.

Police said Pramod Kumar left his residence in Patna yesterday in connection with registration of a plot of land and has been traceless since then.

'' The victim appears to have been kidnapped by the criminals from Patna and was later shot dead at Sundar Nagar under Sarai police station this morning,'' police said.

The body of the victim was recovered during routine patrolling, police added.

Documents recovered from the pocket of the victim indicated that he was partner of Patna based Anant Home Private limited.

The motive behind the killing was being investigated, police said.
