Crude pipeline blown up in Asom

Makum, Nov 12 (UNI) The United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) militants have blown up a crude pipeline of Oil India Limited(OIL) here, about 510 km away from Guwahati, in Tinsukia district of Asom.

Police said a huge ball of fire with plumes of smoke had been reported, adding the villagers had either been evacuated or fled the place.

Details were awaited.
