Thind's police remand extended till November 22

Patiala, Nov 11 (UNI) A CBI court here today extended the police remand of suspended Himachal Pradesh Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Bhupinder Singh Thind till Novemebr 22, while his bail application would be heard by a sessions court here on November 13.

The CBI had arrested the senior IPS officer of the Himachal cadre on October 27 for his alleged involvement in a case of cheating, forgery and criminal conspiracy, inlcuding land grabbing.

He is lodged in Patiala Central Jail.
