Navalkar hospitalised after fall
Mumbai, Nov 11 (UNI) Senior Shiv Sena leader Pramod Navalkar was admitted to a private hospital after he slipped and fell in the bathroom of his Girgaum residence here.
Family sources told UNI that Mr Navalkar, who suffered a mild paralytic bout due to the fall yesterday, was responding well to treatment and was likely to be discharged in the next few days.
Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray and former Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi were among the host of leaders who visited the hospital to inquire after Mr Navalkar's health.
Mr Navalkar is one of the seniormost Shiv Sena leaders and is considered close to Sena chief Bal Thackeray. He has served four terms as member of the Legislative Council and one term as member of the Legislative Assembly.
