'Most unsuccessful candidate' at hustings again
Kozhikode, Nov 11 (UNI) K Padmarajan, A Limca Book of World Records holder for contesting most elections, who had even fought against VVIPs, including former President K R Narayanan, has filed his nomination as an Independent candidate for the December four Thiruvambadi bypoll.
A resident of Raman Nagar, in Tamil Nadu, K Padmarajan, filed his papers before Returning Officer Sravankumar Verma here yesterday.
Mr Padmarajan, who also has the dubious distinction of being the most unsuccessful candidate, took on Mr Narayanan in the 1997 Presidential election.
His other prominent electoral rivals were former Prime Ministers Mr P V Narasimha Rao and Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
