Militants nabbed at Imphal airport

Imphal, Nov 11 (UNI) Two cadres of People's United Liberation Front (PULF) were detained by the Manipur police at the Imphal Airport yesterday.

Manipur police personnel in plain clothes were stationed at the airport after getting information that a few PULF cadres were trying to leave the state by flight, Imphal West SP Clay Khongsai here today said.

The two were later identified as 'Self Styled' Lt. Md Waris Khan and Md Illiaz Khan, Mr Khongsai said.

Both have been detained for further interrogation and investigation, he said.

Meanwhile, 32 Assam Rifles and Imphal East commandos have nabbed a cadre of United National Liberation Front (UNLF), Asom Rifles PRO today said.
