MCD demolishes building at Karol Bagh

New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) The Municipal Corporation of Delhi today carried out demolition action at a three-storey unauthorised building at Karol Bagh area of central Delhi.

The MCD used advanced disaster management equipment like three dimensional hammer fabricators. Extensive demolition was carried out on the third floor of the building which was totally illegal, an MCD spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said though the building was sanctioned for residential use, it was converted into a commercial premises and operating as a guesthouse.
