JD(U) finalises its candidate for Manihari assembly seat

Patna, Nov 11 (UNI) The JD(U) today finalised its candidate for Manihari assembly seat and decided to field former MLA Vishwanath Singh in the byelection.

State president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh said here that the name of the candidate was approved by the JD(U) National president Sharad Yadav.

He said Mr Singh had contested from the same seat in the last assembly election.

Manihari assembly seat fell vacant following the sudden demise of its representative in the state assembly Mubarak Hussain.
