Dubbing artistes end stir
Hyderabad, Nov 11 (UNI) Dubbing artistes and writers who were on a hunger strike protesting against the Film Producers Council's decision to ban dubbed films, ended their stir today, following an assurance by Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber President Viswanath.
Dubbing artiste Ravi Shankar and writers Vennelakanti, Sri Rama Krishna and Bharathi Babu were leading the agitation.
Mr Viswanath assured them that he would strive to resolve the issue.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy also sent a message to dubbing artistes and writers seeking to meet them, so that the problem could be sorted out across the table.
