BJP to fight, it alone in UP : Naidu
Hyderabad, Nov 11 (UNI) BJP senior leader and former Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu today said the party would fight it alone in the coming Assembly election in Uttar Pradesh, under the leadership of former Chief Minister Kalyan Singh.
Talking to reporters here, he said the BJP had been strengthened in Uttar Pradesh in the recent local body elections and the party would show fruitful results in the coming Assembly elections scheduled to be held next year.
He said UPA had lost credibility after it failed to control price rise of essential commodities and pursuing 'minority appeasement' policies.
Alleging that the Andhra Pradesh government had failed to take up rehabilitation programmes in flood-affected areas, Mr Naidu charged the Centre with failing to allocate sufficient funds for the rehabilitation of affected people.
