Two killed as mud caved in on them

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 10 (UNI) Two people were caved in while taking a pit at Panayarakunny, near Balaramapuram in the district today.

The deceased were identified as Santhosh (28) and Sathyaraj (41), both ahiling from the area, police sources said.

The tragedy occurred when the duo were engaged in making a pit for a poultry farm to dump their waste, a huge mud caved in on them.

While Sathyaraj died on the spot, Santhosh after admitting to the hospital, the sources added.
