Two CRPF jawans killed in explosion in Asom

Guwahati, Nov 10 (UNI) At least two CRPF jawans were killed and three injured, one of them seriously, in an explosion this afternoon after ULFA planted a bomb on the route of the force's convoy at Amarpour near Sadiya.

Official sources said the blast occurred when the bomb came under the wheels of the vehicles of the convoy.

The incident took place around 570 km from here.

Though altogether five jawans sustained injuries, two died later, while three others were undergoing treatment in hospital, where the condition of one was stated to be critical.
