Jamshedpur, Nov 10 (UNI) A three-member jury of FITA's technical committee today revoked the judges' decision to disqualify Indian captain Jayanta Talukdar following a written appeal by the Indian team management.

Talukdar, world's number 4 archer, was disqualifed by the two judeges from England and Israel yesterday in the quarterfinal of men's individual recurve on the technical grounds.

India lodged complaint yesterday but it was rejected as the appeal was done after the expiry of specified time of five minutes.

Taking the cognizance of the re-appeal the jury members comprised H L Jindal,Indumani Singh and L Bali revoked the judges' decision under the articles 7.8.1.8 of FITA rules.

The jury members ruled that since the judges warned Talukdar only once, they felt it was not fair as he should have been given warning more than once to rectify his fault.
