SR to run special weekly train between Egmore-Nagercoil

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 10 (UNI) The Southern Railway (SR) will run a special train between Chennai Egmore and Nagercoil to clear the extra rush of passengers during November, December and January next year.

The weekly special (Train No 0611) would leave Chennai Egmore at 2300 hrs on every Fridays from November 10, 2006 to January 26, 2007 and reach Nagercoil at 1400 hrs the next day, a SR release said here.

On its return journey the special (Train No 0612) would leave Nagercoil at 1330 hrs on every Sundays from November 12, 2006 to January 28, 2007 and reach Chennai Egmore at 0430 hrs the next day.

The train would stop at Tirunelveli, Vanchi Maniyachchi, Satur, Kovilpatti, Virudunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappali, Vridhachalam, Villupuram, Tindivanam, Chengalpattu, Tambaram and Mambalam, the release added.
