Simplex Infra bags Rs 212 cr contract from DMRC
New Delhi, Nov 10: Simplex Infrastructures Ltd has been awarded a Rs 212 crore contract from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd for part design and construction of structural work of three elevated stations on Qutub Minar-Gurgaon Corridor.
The contract has been given for the preparation of structural work at Chattarpur, Ghitorni and Arjangarh stations under Phase II of Delhi MRTS Project.
The company had recently secured orders worth Rs 249 crore in India and Sri Lanka for civil and structural works.
In August, the company received an order worth Rs 439 crore for the construction of elevated expressway corridor in Hyderabad.
It also secured two orders totalling Rs 138 crore under the Tsunami reconstruction project in Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
Simplex Infrastructure has reported a fall of 21.21 per cent in net profits to about Rs 0.7 crore for the quarter as against Rs 0.89 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
