Reliance communications adds 1.25 million wireless customers

Mumbai, Nov 10 (UNI) Reliance communications, ranked among Asia's six topmost valuable telecom companies, added over 1.25 million wireless subscribers on its network, during October 2006, reliance release said today.

The superior value offerings from reliance mobile resulted in an eight per cent growth in average monthly subscriber additions of previous quarter -July-September 2006. Reliance communications commenced services in over 200 towns during october and expanded its coverage to 6,000 towns.

Reliance communication President S P Shukla said the company has maintained the growth momentum in new suscriber additions. with the Indian telecom sector experiencing robust growth, reliance communicaitons is confident to further enhance the current uptrended, he added.
