Periyapatna records 4 cms rainfall

Bangalore, Nov 10(UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka.

Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Periyapatna 4, Malavalli, Sindagi 1 each.

Minimum temperatures changed little over the State and were below normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Belgaum AP recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 16.6 deg.

Forecast valid until the Sunday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over South Interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather may prevail over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajnagara districts.

Mainly dry weather may prevail over the remaining districts of the State.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State.

Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Minimum temperature would be around 18 deg. Celsius.
