Model accuses ex-lover of circulating obscene MMS

Surat, Nov 10 (UNI) A city-based model has filed a complaint with Detection of Crime Branch (DCB) against her former lover for circulating her obscene pictures through multimedia messaging service(MMS).

DCB has registered a case against the culprit on wednesday.

According to police, the 23-year-old model in her complaint, has accused Amit Joshi of the crime.

The model, originally from North Gujarat, has settled in Surat for some years now, working for some jewellery shops in the city.

She was in love with Joshi for years, who had allegedly took her pictures during some of their intimate moments, assuring her that he would delete them.

Later Joshi got married to some other woman and forced the model to continue relations with him. When the complainant refused to comply with his demands, Joshi allegedly started circulating the 27-second MMS, said police.

Joshi has been booked under IPC sections 406, 509, 292, 504 and 506(2), by DCB. DCB has initiated procedures to nab Joshi who originally hails from Borivili in Mumbai.
