Mercury rises to 31.1 degrees Celsius in Delhi
New Delhi, Nov 10 (UNI) Despite the influence of western disturbances, the maximum temperature rose by a degree and recorded a high of 31.1 degrees Celsius in the national Capital.
The Meteorological department said the maximum was two degrees above normal.
The minimum was 15.7 degrees C, three degrees above normal.
The weatherman has forecast shallow fog in the morning and mainly clear sky over the next 24 hours in the capital. The minimum is expected to rise to 17 degrees Celsius.
Under the influence of western disturbances over north Pakistan and adjoining region, scattered rain and snowfall activity is likely to commence over Jammu and Kashmir.
The met department said it is likely to continue during the next 24 hours and also extend into Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal.
Isolated rain and thundershowers are also likely over adjoining plains of north India tomorrow.
