Man arrested for taking Money for second marriage

Hyderabad, Nov 10 (UNI) Police today arrested one along with his two associates for cheating a family by taking Rs 1.63 lakh for the second marriage one of them.

Umesh, who was already married, took the help of his friends to fix a second marriage for him. The three took Rs 1.63 lakh and disappeared.

As there was no trace of the bride groom, the bride's brother Raju lodged a complaint with the police, who after investigation, nabbed all the three.

Umesh said he had cheated the girl's family due to financial problems.

His friends said they had refunded Rs 1.28 lakh to the bride's family and spent the rest. They confessed that it was wrong on their part to have committed the offence and would face whatever the punishment that would be given to them.
