Jaseinder knocks out sahil

Jalandhar, Nov 10 (UNI) Jaswinder Singh of Amritsar today knocked out second seed Sahil Arora(PSEB) in the Men's Singles second round of the Narendra Mohan Senior Punjb State Badminton Championship even as top seed Harinder Singh of Patiala moved into the pre quarter final.

In the first upset of the tournament which began at Raizada Hansraj Stadium here, Jaswinder outclassed Sahil in straight games by 21-11 and 21-08.

However, in another key match top seed Harinder Singh beat Abhishek(Amritsar) by 21-17 and 21-10 in the Men's second round match.

Meanwhile, Inter District Championship was concluded here today in which hosts Jalandhar district team won the title defeating Amritsar district team by 3-0.
