Bomb scare delays train

Bhopal, Nov 10 (UNI) A bomb scare on the 2138 Up Punjab Mail delayed the train by nearly four hours at the Bina railway station today.

An unidentified person informed the enquiry at Bina Railway Station that bomb had been placed in the train but a thorough check by the bomb disposal squad and Railway Police Force revealed that it was a hoax, Western Central Railway's Bhopal Division PRO Anil Jain said.

On receiving information, Bhopal Rail Manager Ashok Kumar immediately reached control room and dispatched a bomb disposal squad to Bina.

An unclaimed cartoon was found under berth number 39 of coach number S-7. However, a wall clock was found in it.

He said passengers travelling to the state capital were allowed to reach via other trains.
